I have searched for nonsurgical treatments. I was excited to find this book and jumped right into it. Chapter 1 discusses the background on the spine, the bones and supporting muscles. The author describes the curves of the spine and the vertebra. The list includes all the various bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments and each purpose. In chapter 2, we learn what can go wrong and diagnostic tests. There is a list of red flags for conditions that could be caused by serious disorders. There is also a chart with spinal components and conditions. The chapter ends with the list of diagnostic tests available to rule out and assist with diagnosis. Chapter 3 includes way to cope with pain. This chapter describes the difference types of pain and how pain develops.
