Jake Travis, while trying to expose a corrupt Miami art gallery, goes undercover for the FBI. The gallery’s owner, Phillip Agatha, is more enchanted with murder than art. Aboard Agatha’s luxury yacht, the Gail Force, Jake is taken with Agatha’s charming hospitality, as well as his alluring assistant, Christina, who harbors her own secrets. Unknowingly, Jake fingers a young woman to die.

As Jake battles to save the woman’s life, unearth a rogue FBI agent, and bring Agatha to justice, his greatest challenge is to stay loyal to his girlfriend, Kathleen, and to withstand the Gail Force.

The story begins with Riley and Karl preparing dinner in a house on St. Kitts. Karl stopes suddenly when he sees the Fat Man, Philip Agatha. As his last act, Karl throws Riley over the deck to save her life. Riley arrives in St. Pete, Florida looking for Jake Travis. She wants his help to find and destroy Agatha. To accomplish this, Jake volunteers to go undercover for the FBI.

Jake enlists the help of two friends while he is on the Gail Force, the yacht owned by Agatha. He meets a young woman named Christine onboard. She is his escort around the Bahamas and Key West. Christine explains her situation and the role she plays for Agatha. Jakes does not want her to be caught in the net when Agatha is brought in. He must use every trick he knows to get out alive.

The book is well written and is mainly told in the first person point of view. The characters are developed and likeable. If you like fast-paced action mysteries, I think you would like this book.
