The Fire Witch (The Coven: Elemental Magic #6.5)
This is the seventh book in the Coven series. Emersyn and Deacon are soulmates. After the showdown at Samhain, they need some down time. Deacon’s mother demands he come home, and he thinks it would be a good time for Emersyn to meet his parents. After literally dropping into the penthouse, Emersyn feels lost and out of place. She knows she is over her head and very far from her comfort zone.
Even though they are supposed to be having some down time, the demons did not get the memo. Several attacks are personal, and when a little girl is taken, Emersyn and Deacon must do everything they can to save her. After several bad experiences, Emersyn shows everyone who she really is.
The book is written in first person point of view from different perspectives in the present tense. This is a novella which gives a closer look into the Empress of the Coven. I highly recommend not only this book but the entire Coven series. Chandelle is a very talented writer. She hooks you at the beginning of every story and keeps your attention until the very end.
