Tula Bane is preparing to leave the space station with her mother and sister on a colony ship. When she notices that the grain load hasn’t been loaded into the cargo of the ship, she notifies Brother Blue. What happens next changes the course of her life. Tula is left on the station and lives with aliens on the space station until one day a group of Humans arrive.

The book has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the first-person point of view. I like the character of Tula. She is strong and shows how she is a survivor no matter what happens in life. If you like science fiction space stories, you will enjoy this one.
