Natalie Joday is a reporter for the Star. She is also looking into a petnapping case. When the body of a young woman is found in icy waters, Daniel, her brother, is the prime suspect. Natalie knows he is innocent and becomes close to the family while she investigates. Everyone has a motive.
The book has a fast pace, the characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. You need a scorecard to keep track of the suspects. The author has an engaging writing style and I look forward to the next book in the series. I cannot wait to learn more about Natalie, her detective friend, and Daniel. If you like quick read mysteries, you will enjoy reading this book.
