Haven Wardell’s parents are dead and her aunt Trisha Devi doesn’t want the responsibility. Since she recently turned 18 and no boarding school would accept her, Aunt Trisha finds Ipswich College in Salem. Haven’s father attended the school and donated money to it over the years. Haven is hopeful as she moves in and meets her roommate Elodie. The two of them go to a beach party where Haven gets to meet other students and the townies. She is also introduced to the sons of Salem: Ezra Bishop, Cameron Goode, Lyall Corey, and Reyes Scott. That is when things get interesting.
The book has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the first-person point of view from multiple perspectives. There is explicit sex and the book ends in a cliffhanger. Now the wait begins for the next book in the series.
