The ruling family wants to stop a prophecy from coming true. Zikora was 8 years old when she was sent to the capitol as a political prisoner. Now three years later things are changing, and the political players are putting plans into action.
The book has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. The narrator does a good job giving voices to the different characters. I look forward to the next book in the series.
