Bob is an FBI agent and believes in evidence and science. He is a skeptic of anything supernatural. During the hunt for a serial killer in the summer of 1998, John Smith, he is recommended to ask John Edward for assistance. John was gaining in popularity because of his television show, “Crossing Over With John Edward.” Bob makes an appointment to see John and brings items from the victims along with control items. John immediately dismisses the control items and begins connecting with guides. He also tells Bob personal information that John would not know. Bob becomes a believer and so begins their friendship and working relationship.
The book is written in the first-person point of view from Bob. I watched John Edward’s show and was always engaged. If you like police procedurals with a supernatural twist, you may enjoy reading this book.
