National Park Service investigator Michael Walker is battling smugglers of priceless artifacts and is close to an arrest. He is sent to Glacier Bay, Alaska to investigate missing scientists. In the Florida Everglades, Agent Gina Delgado is investigating the murder of a journalist. What do these two incidents have in common? Climate change. The First Nations tribe could be the key to saving the world.
The book has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. I must admit the story jumps around too much but I knew it would eventually come together at some point. If you like mystery books about climate change, you may enjoy reading this one.
