This author had a traumatic childhood. Each chapter highlights a different animal – from Debbie D the goose, Emily the emu, Togi the steer (whose best friend was a llama), to Hamburger Harry. The individual stories are endearing with a few funny tidbits. If you like animals or had a difficult childhood, you may like reading this book.
