The world is ending. A black hole is destroying the solar system. One by one the planets are being destroyed. An older couple, Don and Rodney, decide the time has come to leave Maine and travel across the country to keep a promise to their adopted son Jeremy. Along the way they meet families and loners all trying to deal with the end of the world.
The book has a fast pace, the characters are well developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. I love the books by this author. The characters are so alive and by the end of each book, I find myself wishing I knew the characters in real life. If you like fiction books, you should try this one.
