Zeus and Medusa are sitting on opposite sides in the New York City Courthouse. She was wrongly committed, punished, and placed on an island in isolation. Zeus admitted he raped Medusa but said she was like other women. They all ask for it and want it. When the judge was declaring the case over, Zeus threatened everyone who would stand in his way. Medusa’s beauty was restored. Her friend, Jack, moved into her brownstone as a protector and assistant. The relationship grew into something deeper. Next thing you know, someone starts killing off the Olympians. Who will be left?
The book has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. It is a satirical view of Greek mythology based in modern times. If you like mythology, you may like this perspective.
