This book works with the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Toolkit and the Chakra Wisdom Oracle cards associated with them. There are 49 cards and the artwork is amazing.

There are key concepts and reading techniques throughout the book. The author gives suggestions to help us use our intuition. She discusses the use of buzzwords on the cards and look up alternative meanings for each word using a dictionary and thesaurus. There are seven cards for each chakra category.

She discusses the source of the Chakra Oracle Fables from her near-death experience. The complete fables can be found in the Chakra Wisdom Oracle Toolkit. She describes there are no good cards or bad cards.

There are seven aspects which include darkness, dawn and light aspects for all the cards. The first aspect asks is it a journey or a life lesson. The second aspect asks if it is an emotional issue and our internal challenge or gift. The third aspect reveals how our thinking determines a situation. The fourth aspect concerns a personal, evolved message regarding matters of the heart. The fifth aspect – Darkness reveals what is being communicated to the world. The sixth aspect – Dawn is intuitive energy and marks what your querent is beginning to see. The seventh aspect – Light is the part of of that can choose to step into grace, kindness and be uplifted.

As a sample, I pulled three cards:

* Bittersweet (blue): nightshade or pleasure with sadness. This is a journey.

* Complacency (red): self-satisfaction or smugness; quiet pleasure while unaware of some potential danger. This is a life lesson.

* Recovery (purple): regaining something lost or taken away; improvement. This is a journey.

The book is easy to read and understand. The card layouts and divination are very intuitive, and I can see myself using them for a long time. I highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to work with their chakras or oracle cards.
