Arthur Malory is a descendant of Thomas Malory, the famous writer of the Arthurian legend. Although he is a chemist by profession, he loves history and the legends surrounding King Arthur. He is having a bad run of luck. First, his dear friend and his wife die in a house fire, and Arthur was pulled out at the last moment. Nex, he loses his job, and someone firebombs his home.
The book has a steady pace, the characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. It jumps between current time with Arthur to the past with Thomas. I found the comparison to The DaVinci code to be like this book. There is even a French woman helping on the journey. If you like books about Avalon or the DaVinci Code, you will like this book.
