Thyroid Cancer and Thyroid Nodules In 30 Minutes: A guide to symptoms, diagnosis, surgery, and disease management

In 2015, after a CT scan for my lungs, the doctor found a thyroid nodule. It pushed inwards so I did not have an obvious lump. I had a fine needle aspiration biopsy which led to having half my thyroid removed and now take medication for hypothyroidism. I found this book and thought it looked interesting. In this immediate results culture we live in, who doesn’t like to learn something in 30 minutes.

I wish this book was around when I was having my diagnosis and assessment. I would have felt better knowing what was going on with my thyroid especially the hoarseness and need for medication.
