The book is a yearlong journey Jenny took to connect and explore spiritual alchemy. It was her desire to learn about Enochian spirituality and contact John Dee. Although she connected with Dee, she began working with Edward Kelley. He became her mentor. She discusses using a spirit board to contact with Dee. The author also used radio frequencies and a ghost box to receive messages from the spirits. She consulted with angels and human spirits. There are log entries detailing her interactions with Dee, David Blackburn, a healer, and others. She hopes the log entries can help others work with spirits.

There are explanations of heart surgery but not traditional. A homunculus is placed in her heart to help her heal. Donald Tyson includes several interviews with Edward Kelley. She goes into detail of her harrowing initiation with the angel Gabriel and the fear of losing her husband. She compares her experience of death and rebirth to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the ritual Edward Kelley has Jenny describe the gates she passed through during the initiation.

In the second part of the book, she gives advice on several topics. On the topic of circles, she does not recommend using them. This goes against everything I have learned. There are tips on using a ghost box, analyzing sounds, and scrying. She also includes the stages in psychic development. The book ends with conversations between Jenny and Edward Kelley. This is a great reference book for anyone looking for deeper connection with scrying and other forms of spiritual communication.
