The United States is a Christian nation. If you go against the rules in the Bible, you are punished publicly and tortured to confess.

This was a difficult book to read for me. It was scary and too close to the truth in our current political scenario. It had a steady pace, the characters were somewhat developed, and it was written in the third person point of view. There were a lot of characters to keep track of in the story. If you like books like 1984 or other big brother type stories, you may enjoy reading this one.
