Fiction (Adult), General Fiction (Adult), Action, Adventure, Drug Trafficking, Flying, Pilot

Sam Claymore is a pilot for Civil Airlines. He gets an email notifying him that he is being furloughed. He contacts his longtime friend, Nate, and leaves Detroit for Miami, Florida. Nate told him he had a job for his pharmaceutical business. What Sam did not realize was his version of drugs was legal. He begins flying drugs and is making more than he ever could as a pilot. Things begin to heat up when he takes a job working for drug lord in Columbia. After facing a life altering action, he must decide about his future.

The book has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in third person point of view. The beginning of the book was a little boring since it is the conversation held between the pilot and the tower before and during takeoff. The author has a descriptive writing style that made me feel as if I was immersed in the story. If you enjoy action-adventure stories, you may like this book.
