Emma and Eric escape Territory L with Julian’s help. He is a driver of a supply truck between the two territories. Since Emma’s sister Taylor and her baby Abigail were found and taken into custody, Emma is determined to find out what happened to baby Abigail. They begin searching and find refuge in an abandoned college building, but they find they are not alone. A small group of runaways have already staked a claim in the building. Eventually, they came to an agreement and begin working together.
The book has a slower pace, the characters are not as developed as the first book, and it is written in the first-person point of view. This book is not as captivating as the first book. There is a lot of running away and hiding in the book. With that said, I am still all in for the series and look forward to the next book in the series, Journey to Territory U.
