Nonfiction (Adult), Health, Mind, Body, Spirit, Abortion, Poetry

This is a beautiful poem about a woman choosing to have an abortion. She describes how she felt before and after the procedure. She also talks about where she was in her life, and he circumstances surrounding her. The illustrations are bold and emotional. When you look at them you can almost feel the hard decision to terminate a pregnancy.  I realize this book was published seven years ago when Roe v. Wade was still in effect and abortions were legal in most states. I recommend this book to anyone who believes a woman should have control over her body and the right to choose what is best for her.
