Phillip finds an abandoned lobster boat, the Kelly Lynn. It is Jimmy Zinck’s boat. He risks his life to retrieve the boat for salvage value during a violent storm and almost loses his life in the process. When he brings it back to the dock, his friend, Charlie, suggests checking inside to make sure no one is on board. Since it is dark, Phillip does not notice the blood. The next day the police show up asking questions. They are investigating the suspicious death of Jimmy and since Phillip is in possession of his boat, he is the prime suspect.

The book is an action adventure with a steady pace. The characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. If you like nautical themed stories with a murder mystery thrown in, you may enjoy reading this book.
