Delphine is an artist. When she was a child, she suffered from a drowning accident. As a result, she was blind for a year. During this time, she used her inner eye to see. Her blindness went away but she learned to draw blindfolded and see a different picture. She meets a man during a sketching session and sees herself hurting him. She and her twin brother, Sebastian, leave France for New York. She is commissioned by a woman to find a missing book.
The story has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. It is the third book in the Daughters of La Lune series.
