The book chronicles Supreme Court cases since John Roberts was appointed to Chief Justice. In the 73 cases that would benefit corporations or wealthy donors, all the cases went in their favor. Now that the court is 6-3 conservative to liberal, more conservative decisions will be made.
Until I read/listened to Senator Whitehouse’s book, Captured, was not aware of the effect of dark money in the government. It is heartbreaking to think about the damage that is and will continue to be, done with the court systems. We have already watched the overturn of civil rights, abortion rights, and political contributions. What will be next?
