Galina is a computer hacker. Her lover, Oleg, oversees the team of hackers. He also has a navy behind him searching for submarines.

Lana Elkins worked for the National Security Agency as a cyber spy. Now she owns her own company, Cyber Force. She is contacted after a computer scientist and his wife were tortured and killed. The killers were after his work on climatology and the oil industry. Lana is looking for the hackers while the seawater starts to rise.

Her daughter, Emma, has contacted her father, Don. He has been out of their lives for more than ten years. She invites him to her choir performance at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. She tells Lana he has been in jail for drug smuggling. Now with seawater levels rising, Lana has her ex-husband back in her house and a computer hacker to catch.

The story is fast paced, the characters are well developed, and it is written in third person point of view. This book was too close to reality. If you like disaster themed stories, like Titanic, you will enjoy reading this book.
