People got sick, some died. That was the note Margot Baxter Harriman found at Giana Gilroy’s, secretary at B&H Food, desk. Margot wants to fix the business after a bad shipment left the B&H Foods warehouse. She hires Loretta Mancini of Mancini & Associates to find the cause of the illness. There are attacks and threats. Things begin to get dicey for the two young women. Now they do not know who they can trust.
The story has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. I have read several books by this author and enjoyed this book the most. If you like historical fiction, like Murdoch Mysteries, you will enjoy reading this book.
