Someone on the dig is playing nasty pranks on Saffron. She believes she knows who it is. When a death occurs from poison, and the name of the victim is Saffron, the police officials look at the botanist, Saffron Everleigh.
The book has a steady pace, the characters are somewhat developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. I recommend reading this series to follow the flow of the characters. If you like historical fiction, you may enjoy reading this book.
