Samantha Lee is a revitalization planner. When Robbie, a coworker, develops appendicitis and needs emergency surgery, Samantha heads to her childhood home of Rock Island, Florida. The story has a steady pace, the characters are developed, and it is written in the first-person point of view from multiple perspectives. The two narrators do an excellent job giving a voice to each character.
