I love the description she gives of herself versus the stereotypical one of a psychic medium. She talks about psychic abilities as being a birthright and that it is not dictated by race or nationality. She includes true stories, explanations, and exercises. She mentions tuning into your intuition by following your gut. She also stated the difference between intuition and psychic abilities is like splashing pain on a canvas to being a master artist. The journal entries and exercises are very detailed.

The author has smooth writing style. As I read the book, I felt as if I was sitting across the table having a conversation with a fiend. She does not come across as all-knowing or with the attitude of “you have to do it this way or else.” She is an everyday woman, wife, and mother who likes to help people, whether they are alive or a spirit. If you have ever wondered what life could/would be like having psychic abilities, this book would be a great starting point.
