I must be honest. I am a huge fan of the author. In fact, I was a member of the Lord Peter Wimsey society. I purchased the hardback version when it initially came out and the kindle version in 2017. I am embarrassed to say it took me this long to read it.

She discusses the similarities between religion with the belief in God and how creators (writers, artists, etc.). She mentions the importance of Shakespeare, T.S. Elliott, and other well-known writers. She tells how the creation story with free will can be seen as an unfinished work. It is still a work in progress. She provides many analogies making the reader see the different perspectives through her own work and others. A times, the book flowed at a steady pace but then felt like ramblings. If you have Christian beliefs and like to look deeper into religions, this may be a good choice.
