After a break in at a bank, officials begin negotiations. They believe a magician, Violet, had broken in and stole documents. I liked the concept but the change in the points of view was confusing for me. At times, I was not sure who was talking or telling the story. The book has very graphic sex encounters and vulgar language. This just was not a book for me.
