Amber Reynolds is in a coma. She is trying to piece together what happened to her and how she got in this condition. The book then jumps back into the past where we meet Claire, Taylor, and imaginary friend Jo. Claire and Taylor are inseparable and are like sisters. They do everything together but when one becomes obsessed with the other, life becomes dangerous for those around them.

The book has a steady pace, but it moves from the present to the past multiple times. The characters are developed, and it is written in the first-person point of view and with diary entries. I have to say Alice Feeney is now my favorite author. She is the only author that makes me read books twice. I read them once and then say, “wait, what?” and then must read them again. If you love a good mystery with a lot of twists, you will enjoy reading this book.
