The story has a steady pace, the characters are very developed, and it is written in the third person point of view. This is a part of the Matthew Venn detective series. Matthew is a quiet man still uncomfortable in his own skin. In this book he also has to deal with his husband’s family. If you like British police procedurals and detective mysteries, you may enjoy reading this book.
